Cali and the thought of moving

Cali is taking less pain medication and feeling a lot more like her old self. I mentioned to the vet that her tail seems to hurt her sometimes. We laughed that after all of the head trauma it would be her tail that is bothering her.

I'm house hunting because I've suddenly remembered why it sucks to live on a busy street. The problem is that I love my neighborhood and change=scary.

This is a beautiful houseā€”is it yours? I would hate to leave it, too.

But your dog, Cali! What a fighter! She really is a miracle dog. Now she needs to stop trying to become a hood ornament!

Yes, home sweet home. I'm having a hard time finding something that I like even as much plus I love the neighbors and we are just a few blocks from a great park. We are also within walking distance of a cute little downtown area.

You would think that Cali would have some kind of fear of traffic after her ordeal, but she seems to remember nothing. My theory is that since she was unconcious and had a big head injury that it never registered for her.

Thanks for coming over to visit.

that is a very cute house, Leslie. Hopefully you'll find something a little safer for the pup.

Uh...excuse me...I don't believe you ever gave me your blog URL! I will reading. Sorry about Cali. She IS a stinker! I just got done with the month from hell, where all 4 of my animals had to go to the vet for one thing or another. We've been calling our oldest dachshund "Frankenpuppy," because of the stitches. I am signing this with my blog alias...
